                                                          THE HOLY SPIRIT AND ME
Romans 8:5-14 “ Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires;but those who live in accordance with the spirit have their mind set on what the spirit desires………For  those who are led by the spirit of God are the children of God…”
Introduction
 Today we are going to learn lesson about Holy Spirit and its work in our life. But before  going toward our lesson let us first study about Holy spirit.
The study of Holy spirit  in theological terminology is called Pneumatology.The study of the holy spirit may arise many questions in our heart and mind regarding who is it, what is its responsibilities among the trinity, what did the holy spirit do in regard to creation and revelation, what are the spiritual gifts, etc…This are the lesson which we are going to learn at first.
i)The personhood and diety of the spirit
First the holy spirit is the member of trinity and as a person it have attributes which  a person have. It has feeling (Eph 4:30),will (1Corith 12:11;Acts16:6-12), he prays (Rom 8:26). He teaches and directs (John 14:26;Acts 8:29; Rom 8:14). This diety among the trinity is with us all around the time is really a feeling of relax for us. But sometime we human being forget its present and try to identify its present and work through our human knowledge
ii) The holy spirit in creation, Revelation and  filing
In Genesis 1:1-2 we can find that before God create different things on this earth, holy spirit was there.In another place Elihu says to Job: The spirit of God has made me, and the birth of the Almighty gave me life (Job 33:4). In regard of revelation through our personel experiences also we can find out Holy spirit is the only one source which reveals the work and  word of the holy spirit in us which a human wisdom is unable to understand.
 In old testament  the Holy spirit filled individuals for various kinds of service.A good example  of the nature of filling of the holy spirit in holy spirit is the life of first king of Israel Saul. The story it start from the record of 1Samuel 10:9 but later due to his disobedience the  holy spirit left him 1Sam 16:14. But today if we are baptised with the name of holy spirit we should never think that it will live us nut we should be always assure that its present in our life will never lead us to do any work against God.
Now let us move towrd our sermon topic
Led by the spirit:
If we look Old Testament we can find out that most holy place inside the temple cannot be visited or entered by all people except the most high priest. It used to be opened once in a year where the high priest used to give different sacrificials. They used to perform this task for the forgiveness of their and the people sins. But in New Testament we see that when Jesus Christ was crucified and died in the cross for all of the sinners in that moment the curtain of the temple which was not soo easy to be turned by human strength just turned in a second , which shows that Jesus Christ through his blood and death open a new way for the eternal life for all human being and opened the way where God can be worship by all human being…what a wonderful and blessing opportunity for us
 But to go our life through the path of the eternal life in New Testament Jesus Christ the Lord have given us our leader to led that is Holy spirit. It’s the Holy Spirit who teach, led, reveal many Godly things in our life but for understanding it we have be regenerated and understand the work of spirit in our life.
-Regenerated in Jesus
This one is the most comfortable and peaceful life or born again choosen by the people
